Title: wheres the Chilliwack river fall salmon fishing thread rodney??

its mid september.....time to put up the thread for 2017....give the little trout a rest its salmon season.  ;D

Maybe we should just start a new one ourselves? Ill podt something when i get out there. Might be a bit before this happens tho...

Hmm, maybe because:

1) The last "Pink" Thread had to be locked because people couldn't play nice.
2) The popular spots on the river are already gong shows (due to low water) and don't need to be made any worse?
3) Rod is encouraging people to go out and fish and get more experience "on the water" rather than sitting on the computer waiting for       
    someone to tell them where to go?

Hmm maybe to talk about effective techniques, how to cure bait,  best gear to use, how to read water, how to use weather reports to figure out water conditions etc..

it rained all night but the water still is clear. good conditions from upper mid and lower. pinks are getting fewer as they begin spawning. Caught 2 jacks this morning mid river on red cured roe and returned them back to the flow. Already have one from last week....dont need anymore vedder whites. The hunt for coho continues... :D

Haven't seen many coho but landed a nice 20 lb spring todsy...red to my surprise...lower river at 1pm with some cloud cover...

During the river cleanup last week, I was able to sneak down to the river from the Bench Road and shoot this video... non-fishable portion of the river!!
