Can't seem to get enough of the pink fishery, so I thought I'd give the ECVI (East Coast Vancouver Island for those who don't know) Pinks a go this Summer for a couple of days. I hear you can shore fish for them just north of Nanaimo and further north, ie. Cambell River. Has anyone ventured over there in even-numbered years who can provide some insight into this "northern" pink fishery, ie. timing, areas, shore or wade, etc. Better still, anyone live over there who can tell us a bit more? Would prefer to spin-cast for them as opposed to fly.
