I notice a few strange notifications when logging onto this site. Firefox blocks the tracking attempts. What's going on here?

You haven't noticed that advertising on this website are profiled to your recent browsing history? Most websites - I mean you must be aware of the controversies now swirling about Facebook - track your browsing history and offer content related to it. You should be able to adjust your Firefox security settings so you don't get such warnings.

Sounds like simplified shopping if their targetting the products I would be interested in anyway. ;D

its the new change for all web sites. They have to switch everything to HTTPS://..... sites, if is doesn't have htttps then you get those warning messages. We just spent a week converting three websites over to https because of this same stuff.

I figured something was going on. Shucks, and I was just starting to like the tin foil hat.

nvm fishingwithrod doesnt support https
when you open fwr do this https://www.fishingwithrod.com instead of fishingwithrod.com only

what this means is it will be relatively easy for hackers to grab any personal info stored on the website so keep what's in your profile to a minimum
