Been putting together some supplies and equipment to start building some rods... I've done some repairs, got comfortable wrapping thread and working with epoxy.
I'm looking to find some blanks, or rods that can be stripped and re-done that would be decently fishable when done.
Would like to do a nice float rod, but should probably start out with a smaller, cheaper project to begin with.
I know I can order whatever new blanks I want from online and local suppliers, but thought maybe some of you might have some blanks/rods you'd be willing to part with for reasonable $.
Interested in:
8'6" M or MH spinning rod, mod-fast or fast (hardware rod for coho/maybe steelhead)
10'6"-11'6" MH Fast-ish casting rod
5'9" - 7' M spinning... prefer faster actions for a walleye/bass spin-jig type rod
11'-13' rod suitable for centerline application.
Let me know if you've got anything lying around needing guides/repairs or just unused blanks and maybe we can make a deal.
