Title: Possible Net at Vedder?

Was fishing mid river of the Vedder yesterday and saw what looked like a plastic mesh tube in the river. It was green in color and on the side close to the bank. Was that an illegal trap of some sort? Just wondering if I saw that again should I remove it or is it for research? ???

I have seen crayfish traps along the lower banks before. Quite possible what you saw while out.

The opening was too big for crayfish I think.
