Post by: Salmon__Slayer on February 14, 2016, 11:03:10 PM
Hellooo

I was planning on fishing lafarge this weeked but rain really moved me away. I may go Tuesday, although i fished there many times before. i was wondering due to the cold weather where would the fish likely be holding. anyone know where the deepest point is? :o

I believe the east side is deepest.

It's overall not too deep but the best place I find is the east side for sure

if you want to see the bottom contours of Lafarge or any other lake, google image search 'lafarge lake depth chart'

I've had my depth sounder out there before and found a small area of 25' deep, lots of 18-22' deep areas in the middle and close to one shore. These are usually the areas where I find most of the fish after it's stocked. If I ventured over there right now I would probably target the shallower areas on a nice warm sunny day hoping the fish move up for some warmth.....and possibly food.
