It doesn't matter if they open it for retention because there are no sockeyes being caught right now anyways!!!!!!Norm and I were there for a few hours this morning and there wasn't one sockeye caught the entire time we were there!!

I was out yesterday and say 3 socks caught and let go within 20 mins of ariving on the bar.

That is stoll slow. Just wait things change daily on the river!

There are lots of socks being caught! Look at the test fisheries results, in a few days it should really heat up in time for the opening.

Bet there'e a commercial opening at the mouth and in the river a day or 2 before the supposed "sport" opening.

That would really suck.

Was at the Fraser today and did not see any sockeye caught.  But I did see several jump.  They were pretty small.  On a brighter note, I did see some red springs being caught.  As usual I didn't get one and the guy next to me did.  :'(

I think the FOC site said it opens for Commercial at Approches on July 25 week, and Aug1 in fraser river for Commercial. Should give a good weekend anyway :D
