Fished Ridgedale Bar today, used spin and glos on a bar rig. I think what with how slow the current is here this time of year I probably be better off fishing roe. Would anyone still keep the spin and glo on there to keep the roe off the bottom, or could I just use a corky

I wouldn't use them if I was fishing roe or other bait. The current always lifts the presentation up off the bottom a bit. Not saying you can't use a spin and glow/corkie but there really is no need.
