I've recently just sold my Sage 3113 centerpin setup as it was a little overkill for the flows I fish these days (Allouette etc)
I'd like to but a nice well balanced casting rod and levelwind to target coho, pinks and steelhead.
I've looked at the 2106 and daiwa Luna 253 but also just picked up a gloomis gl3 6-12lb fast action rod paired with a shimano curado 301. What do you guys normally prefer when targeting smaller salmon species on the smaller flows? I know the Sage has more back bone just in case a Spring is hooked but I have to say I really like the factory gl3.

My favourite small flow combo(s) are Sage 2106L with a Daiwa Steez 103 and second is the same rod with a Shimano Calais 200
