I bought this from Daiso:

and tried them out on this:

and the result:

so I use it on my blades:

and I got this:

and turn it back, good as new.

The best $2.00 I ever spent for fishing......I think this stuff is call magic eraser in North America.

Wow $2 is a great deal for melamine foam (aka Magic Erasers) thanks!

It's actually a sponge. The foam cannot be cut with sissors but it was used for infant formula.

Edit - On another note, they also have $1-2 containers which are great for tackle and easily fit into any pocket.
