For those looking for a deal on fishing tackle, Army and Navy downtown have discounted quite a few items to clear. I was advised that Angelo's have gone out of business and A&N have reduced their prices to clear the inventory. For example, packages of yarn which normally sell for $1.29 have been reduced to 50 cents. Drift rods which was marked at $109.00 is now $49.00. Good for beginners. I understand Scotty products have also been reduced.

I went in today and got a 20% off anything coupon. think ill go back tommorrow and pick up a clarus spinning rod. 20% off $125 = $100 good enough deal.

It's all their stores. I was in a week or so ago grabbing some more rabbit fur and was told that all Dragonfly products were on sale because they weren't going to be carrying it anymore. He however did not tell me that there was loads more inventory going on sale or I may have shopped a little more :o

Thanx for the heads up. I went to the 36 W. Cordova store. I got a bunch of yarn but there wasn't a lot there and a lot were sun faded. I got some glow tape and noticed all the moon jelly tape was gone. Angelo brass spinner blades, size 3,4,5, are a deal. Bent Rods jigs and kits in 1/8th are reasonable also. Check out the glow green gum puckys, long for cuttlefish and turd type hoochies. Good luck.

Actually it's the fluorescent lights that fade the yarn.

Pacific Angler doesn't have any of that stuff either but Nikka has lots both Gibbs and Kone Zone-expensive though.
