Title: my first wild coho

2013 was the year I fished the LC .an old timer showed me how to get into the golf course and there is where I caught this beauty.i was using a massive blue color spoon

Nice fish. I think you're lucky to get one out of that river because the fishing is really spotty at the best of times. The fact that you can go here and not see a fish for days has kept most guys away. Some years do get a decent run for a few weeks though but nowhere near the numbers the river used to get back in the day.

When I was there , there were fish jumping all over .guys were catching  cuttys and springs and coho 
Ive lived in the area all my life but never fished the LC. It is my new favorite close river to fish. Now if I could only catch a keeper ...that would be cool. I would also like to rename it ...The lure killer ... because I lost alot on all the snags in there .
