Title: Ice Fishing Question
Post by: The Fish Hunter on January 20, 2014, 09:05:35 PM
Hey!!!!

I am looking to go Ice fishing the first weekend of February. I am wanting to go up around the coquihalla... Can anyone recommend a good lake to hit? I have a dodge 2500 with a camper thus getting places is not to difficult. Also can you recommend a good setup to use?

Thank you :)

Well there are the Kane Valley lakes could be good or kentucky/Alleyne,Marmot lake or Tunkwa.Have you used your camper in the cold before? You need to keep the propane tank and regulator warm or they can freeze up.As for set-ups we use a small flasher then 12" to16" leader to a small glo hook and bait it with maggots ,worms or fresh shrimp. We plan on being up at Tunkwa from Jan 29 to Feb 3.
