Sincef Deas Island came up in another topic i rembered i wanted to ask if anyone here knew what fishing was like there. During the pink mayhem (man o man they were fun in the Fraser last summer - the whole strip from Deas to Alex Fraser bridge was good - good crowd too) we fished off the paring lot (not the lagoon side) and caught some nice ones. Also tried the bar near the tunnel to no avail.
Are either of these good for trout?

The backwater area is the lagoon (i don't know if this is the proper name for it on a river) or on the other side of the parking lot the big elbow in the river?
