Title: Herring in October??!!
Post by: pwn50m3 f15h3r on October 06, 2013, 10:14:09 PM
Today while fishing Garry Point for cohos, my bro caught a 12 inch herring on a silver spoon.

Is this common at this time of the year? Has anyone caught a herring at this time?

Very nice... This is the time of the year they start showing up and numbers will build up as we go into the winter months.

But what about the coho? ;)

Fishing two hours each day at high tide over the weekend at #5 and Albert street. Have seen a few risers and that's. Fish were just not bitting but they were very close to shore. Hooked one fish but lost it. No fish landed. :o
