Title: G Loomis Warranty
Post by: ejeffrey on October 06, 2013, 01:47:07 AM
Does anyone have experience with G Loomis' warranty? I snapped my fly rod tip while playing a relatively small pink salmon on Friday.

It sounds like they charge a $20 processing fee just to look at it, and then make a decision to replace/repair. They could potentially ask for more $$$ to do this. I'm curious if anyone has personal experience dealing with their warranty department with a broken rod.

Almost all rod manufacturers charge a fee, and shipping back. It's normal. $20 is cheap.
