Sadly, people will need to get a ride with Noah on his arc on Sunday.
I think I will stay put although I really wanted to go to the cleanup. >:(

Good you can come to represent this forum. We have about 60 prizes now for the draw and the food will be good too, music excellent and some displays that will have give aways and information.. Raining hard but many dedicated people that care about our river will be there. Gathered up some floats for a give away too.
River will be unfishable so might as well give back to our river and the Chilliwack River Valley
this way.

I have some packs of hooks to give away 50 to a pack for the first members from this forum to register for the cleanup. Just talk to me after you register. I think I have around 6 packs.

Good to see a lot of people out there today! Me & boy filled up a couple black garbage bags down in the canal area. River was blown and looks like it will get worse with these conditions. Thanks to everyone hosting the event and putting in their time to help this river we love.

Thanks for coming out, was a great turn out with close to 300 people braving the rain to make a difference to the river we all love.
I gave away the Maple Leaf Drennan to a person from this forum who works at the Canuck games. ;D ;D ;D Also a number from this forum took home 50 packs of hooks courtesy of the Fraser Valley Salmon Society.
We had a good send off for Lew who has retired from the CVRCS after 12 years and 40 cleanups where he missed only one. Will have a video of this and pictures for Rodney to post later. The dumpster was full at the Fish and Games club as you will see in the pictures. Will go to the other dumpster later for a pix.
Thanks to all the sponsor that donated close to 60 prizes, the volunteers, Tims for all the early refreshments, Fish and Game for hosting us, those with displays, Frank and Ev for cooking and preparing the BBQ, Shaw TV for filming their go Fraser Valley program that will air on Wednesday and on line and last but not least to the close to 300 volunteers that made a difference to the Chilliwack Watershed today.
