I heard on CBC radio today that the sockeye returns are terribly low. Plus water temperatures are so extremely high due to our hot weather that they expect only 1/3 of fish to reaching it to spawning. Those are the ones that get by the flossers. They have lowered the test catch and aboriginal quotas as well. No commercial or recreational retention allowed. But flossing goes unabated. Disgusting.
