Title: Non-tidal Fraser River, August 7th 2013
Post by: Brian the fisherman on August 07, 2013, 12:06:06 PM
Went back to the same bar today, Lost the biggest spring i have ever caught...
it snapped 40lb leader just off the beach....
it was super chrome and at least 35 lbs... with the current in the fraser this fish literally dragged my heels while i chased it down the bar... no one to hop in the boat and chase it for me so i was hooped...
now i'm hooked on bar fishing.

I've never heard of someone both catching and losing the same fish!  ;)

Seriously though, congrats on hooking up, too bad it escaped on you.  Next time you'll get 'er in!

No doubt, I would've been stoked too!  I was just giving you a hard time, hopefully you knew that.  :)
