Title: Chilliwack River, July 25th 2013
Post by: deepcovehooker on July 26, 2013, 10:36:50 AM
Headed out to the Vedder about 6:00 am.  First stop was up at Wilson Road, three cars parked on the road.  When we got down to the river only two guys fishing.  A few rollers and one fish almost landed by the guy beside me in the first couple of hours so moved on.  Tried the run just upstream from the Vedder Crossing bridge.  Work from above down to the end, water seemed a little to fast for good fishing nothing seen or caught.  Buy now it was lunchtime and the weather was extremely hot so took off the waders and went for lunch.  Water was clear and at a good level so hopefully fishing will pick up in the next few weeks.
