Headed to my regular spot today with optimism. Arrived at 6am. I was tossing a pink jig tipped with a small roe bag. On about my tenth cast I got into a nice 15lb doe. Bonked it. Her skeins were small and immature. When the sun peeked over the mountains I switched to strait roe and got into two sockeye in short order. Headed home at about 10 and when I arrived home at 1030 fish in hand, my ever supporting wife was shocked to see me and asked me if I bought my prized catch at Bruces market. Nice...real nice... :)
