Title: Chilliwack River Cleanup, July 20th 2013

Chilliwack/Vedder River Cleanup Society will be hosting the second 2013 Chilliwack River cleanup on Saturday July 20th. If you are interested in helping out, participants will meet up and register at the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve between 8:30am and 9:30am. Please dress according to the weather, waders and gumboots are not required but can be useful if you have them. Tim Hortons will once again be providing muffins, donuts, coffee and juice for all participants. Garbage bags, latex gloves and pick-up tools will be available, but you may also want to bring a pair of gardening/working gloves. The cleanup will finish at Noon. This is a fantastic opportunity to do some red chinook salmon fishing early in the morning before giving back to the river for a few hours.
