Has anyone been up there recently I heard it is open and taking reservations for campers. Fishing used to pretty good 5 years ago so its probably even better now. I'm wondering what shape the road is in for draggin a boat trailer up ?

I think they were rebuilt or maybe its the middle creek camp site that is open , I think the slide happened at the south end of the lake wiped out a 100 sites and put half a mountain on the road . I was steelhead fishing up by the statlu a few years ago and was blown away by the logging operation so I assume our broke govt decided to sell off the logging rights and let them open the road........kinda funny , when u think about it , the logging. Is what caused the first slide, but that is speculation , it could have been a volcano ,but I didn't see any smoke lol
