Some may be interested in this bulletin that has just been released as it does factor in what the rivers could be like this summer.

Went to Kelowna on the weekend and snow levels looked low. Drove back by the Kane lakes snow is about 5 inches in the deep spots off the side of the road.

Lower Fraser snow indice reads 108%, so would it be reasonable to extrapolate that summer river levels may be higher than normal for Vedder/Chilliwack River this year? I am new to this.

It is possible, but it is just one factor. It really depends how quickly it melts ie. last year

Or we get some heavy rain at the time of the melt.
