Has anyone bought Pen-Tac spoons ? I've heard their customer service leaves alot to be desired.

I bought spinner components from them and liked there quality. Caught lots of cohos with there spinners.

I buy all my spoons them and found the customer service to be good. last time I ordered I couldn't get exactly what I wanted because of supply so the person I talked to offered one off plated silver spoons for a good deal that I couldn't turn down. I guess you get treated well when your odering 400 worth of spoons at once though. that being said its been a few years sine I ordered last. I have found that pen tac spoons have a better wobble than rvrfshr spoons that helps you feel your presentation on the swing. If I didn't buy pen-tacs I would go with ironheads...they are the closest thing action wise. little cleos are good as well but I don't know if they have true silver and gold plating which is desirable in off colored water.

Don't bother emailing them as they very rarely email back. I was trying to get wholesale pricing setup while I was working at Pacific Angler. The fact that they make a spoon called "BC Steel" but you couldn't actually find them anywhere in BC was silly. They downright refused to sell to a retailer at anything less than their listed price (though at the time Cabela's had them on their website for the same price Pen-Tac listed).
I ended up placing an order for my personal stock. Most of my order wasn't currently in stock so I had to wait for them to come back from the plating process. It was a long drawn out ordeal, but I did end up with a whole lot of nice spoons and blades.

Ive never had a problem dealing with them, Im not a huge fan of the spoon though.
I still mourn Mor Tac stilly spoons lol
The leader of the pack currently is R&B IMHO, perfect shape n size with all the best colors and more all the time.

That being said Ive seen wondrous things done with the cheapest bulk lures with a bit of colored tape lol...

I'm still waiting 3.5 months out on the balance of my large order from R & B. Seems to be some issues getting product across the border.
