Who's got what on their wishlist? I'm looking for a new sling pack, anyone have any reviews or experience with any of these? I'm not sure which one to go with.

I used to use the old version of the William Joesph Creel Pack and also have the WJ Bra(Confluence) but the Creel is great if you are carrying a few things but you do not want to over stuff it so that it's bulging because it get's annoying on your back but I rarely use it now and go for the Simms waist pack if I'm not using my vest. That Patagonia one looks sweet though!
I would just like Santa to start/finish building my rod before the end of steelhead season :D ;)!

i second the simms waist back. bought a dry creek version and love it.

I have the Orvis guide sllng pack. Quite like it. Carried a lot of stuff in my vest that I never used hence the sling pack carries just the essentials that I need for the day.
-
A gas card so I can drive to all the good rivers without worrying about the bill :P

A chrome 17 Lb Steelhead on Boxing Day.
:o ;D ::)
-
I use the William Joseph Amp chest packhttp://www.williamjoseph.net/gear.php?userChoice=Amp (http://www.williamjoseph.net/gear.php?userChoice=Amp) for beach fishing.
Although it is a chest pack, I wear slung to my left side. Really like it.

There's the wish list and then there's reality. My wish list consists of a new pin rod and reel, a pair of Neo waders and a new pair of boots.
Reality is more like a few pairs of socks, a hefty meal of borscht, cabbage rolls, and a big ol ham, being with my family in nakusp enjoying the snow, and a good season of steel heading when I get back! Thats all I can ask for and all I need.
-
all I want for Christmas is to get back tying as I had to sell my gear the start of the year

Wondering which sling pack you ended up with. Any feed back on it ?

Ended up getting a gift card that was supposed to cover the one I wanted. However even though the website says they carry Orvis and I told the wife which shop would have it, it actually turns out they don't carry Orvis... anymore.
