H Everyone,
Hope the season is goign well for you all. I am thinking about doing a salmon / sturgeon day tomorrow. I a going to try for some cohos on the Vedder tomorrow. and a little later in the day, potentially pop over to the Fraser for some Dino fishing.
I'm pretty excited about trying both of these fisheries in one day, and am wondering if anyone has some suggestions (no secret spots) on where to toss some old salmon parts into a hole on the Fraser for some Dinos.
I got my new sturgeion setup this Spring and have tried the lower fraser, and have snagged every single cast down there to date, so i am looking to try up in the Abby / Chililwack area of the Fraser.
Thanks in advance for your suggesions,
Andrew

Ive had luck just below Dewdney Slough, at the end of Newton road. Its just down from Slaughterhouse bar.
Remember your tag and that it will be low water in the morning

Derby's reach if you can park in one of the campsites can be very productive. I usually fish from the boat .. But when i've camp there I'll fish from shore. 5 in a day. Try roe sacs or dead salmon you find floating on the river. I don't believe you need a tag if you're fishing in the lower. That's if you are fishing in the lower.

I've only ever fished the lower with success every time and ruskin area by boat with fish to hand never tried up top there yet but I do believe you need a sturgeon tag to fish that area just be persistent explore and try different baits eventually you'll find a nice hole

I strictly fish the lower and have been fortunate enough to stumble on a snag free hole that produces multiple sturgeon every time (from shore). I would suggest Derby.

thanks guys,
i have heard good things about Derby, and have scoped out the junction of the Stave and Fraser, just under the bridge there. That place liiks fishy as well.
