Title: Chilliwack River, September 14th 2012
Post by: Bandit420 on September 17, 2012, 01:08:06 AM
Tryed some new water the other day and turned out to be a great pool. Hooked and landed 7 fish 6 jack chinook and 1 6# chrome buck coho. 2 of the jacks were hatchery which I released. Coho was hatchery so I bonked it and it was delicious on the bbq! One of thosed days I will remember for a while till the rain comes. First cast got me into a jack which was pretty awesome. And the sun hit the pool and I thought fishing was settling down so I casted a bit further out then Usual and my float just rocketed down producing the coho 8)

Good luck out there!

Thanks guys! Went out again yesterday and and got a gorgeuos 5# doe! My buddy chucked out a spoon and second cast in hooks into a gorgeous 7# doe coho just full of berrys :D. i got mine short floating with a clear float and flourocarbon. About 14inch leader amd small peice of roe seems to be the ticket. I dumped another beauty coho but she was so fresh and feisty she popped me off  :-\. All these fish came last light.

Good luck out there!
