Just returned from Leighton Lake following a week of fantastic weather and good fishing. The fish caught were generally small with the odd 3 pounder showing up. Chronomid the pattern of choice for most fishers while those trolling a leech or a pumpkin head experiencing success. Cool overnignt tempertatures (at or just below freezing) kept the water temperature at 56-58 deg. F.
