Fished Saturday and Sunday. Saturday was good for jacks, not great but still solid. Then hit a bunch of bows in the evening on dries, biggest one was about 4 pounds and smallest was maybe 14 inches. One of my friends even hooked an adult chinook on a spoon that evening. Sunday morning the jacks seemed to be pushed aside, wasn't hooking any, couldn't figure out why, but then my float went down and a had a big adult snap me off like nothing. So I guess a push of adults was making their was through and seemed to be pushing the jacks aside. Last year when the adults came into the pool, the jacks weren't biting and only could we hook adults, same goes for Sunday. Between 3 of us we all had fish snap us off on 15 pound test, only landed one adult this morning, no jacks hooked. Some big ones in there, tough to try and get them off balance andturn their head before they head into the white water. Chinook were hooked on spoons, blades, jensen eggs, roe and/or prawns (sometimes with a corkie on the top) Pics are on FishPorn.

Can you keep adults?

Some parts of the river you can keep one over 50cm, but not where I was fishing. But the place where my friend hooked the adult on the spoon was part of the river where you could keep one over 50cm, gonna to try that spot again on Saturday.

Went this weekend, hardly any jacks, but hooked 4 adult springs. Landed three of them and also got alot of rainbows. Beautifull time out.
