Just got back from Nootka the fishing was so so. Managed to get 1 or 2 springs everyday mostly around camel rock and canal island. The sound was full of mackerel which were annoying biters but they brought they whales with them must of been about 10 of them , not orcas think they were greys. Stayed at cougar creek campsite and it was completely jammed, boats were triple moored. The camp manager was sending away people who drove all the way out there dragging boats and campers felt bad for them but thats normal for this time of year.
