I've been using a trophy Fraser King to bottom bounce for the past year - it's worked very well, especially in the heavy water we have right now. I will say my next rod is going to be a little longer, lighter and with a shorter butt end - something like an 11'6 MH 12-25lbs. Once the water drops on the Fraser and you are throwing a 2-3oz weight the Fraser King is far to stiff a rod. Nice to have a rod that can throw a medium size bar weight as well if the water looks good - not having to pack two rods is nice.

Tight lines!
