Title: Capilano River, July 24th 2012
Post by: BCfisherman97 on July 24, 2012, 09:58:03 PM
Water went up to a 3 then dropped down to a 1 so I chose to go out today. Got a nice cutty which was fat, a small dolly and a nice 3 pound coho. So many summer runs in the river, really happy to see that. Lots of big ones too!

They're lost Seymour fish from what I've heard....mainly due to the trapping of the smolts in the river and then boating them out past all the birds and others predators around the seymour to out by lighthouse park.  They hit the cap and head up that way rather than going further up to the seymour......best to not target them.
