Title: how to prevent line twist
Post by: DRP79 on July 02, 2012, 09:49:15 PM
I have tried using a colorado under a float a few times this past season and always battled line twist. Sometimes worse than others but i would like to know how to avoid it.

Try a "rolling" barrel swivel instead of the usual barrel swivels.

A little more expensive but helped my line twist!

Ball Bearing swivels  ;)

More expensive but worth it - just use in moderation.

I have my colorado on a quick release clevice that I pass the line thru, then a bead or two, then the hook. I don't have any line twist. Try that out.
