do you fish from a boat or from the pier?, I have heard that fishing used to be good for coho right off of Crescent beach marina but no longer allowed, the manager there told me just go out from there to where the pro crab boats go and drop your traps there, the locals do this and reports are that they're successful.  I would like to hear more on this area and if you are fishing from a boat? ??? ???

they are not very big (1 pound max) but if water is clear, you could see hungreds of them swimming around wooden posts.

I haven't yet checked this years fishing regs but I was led to believe that fishing in the bay was restricted but had heard that by Point Roberts retention was allowed ???

sculpin's head apart.

I saw an eel swimming around on shallow water around the dock at white rock beach. Anyone know what it might be?(yellow in colour, not a wolf eel, likes chasing needlefish)
