Title: Northern Bc fishing this time of year?

How's she goin and all that.  WZ'gunna bring the ole drift rod, then I wuz'gunna bring the ole 8 weight, 5 weight, 'stead I picked up the ole 8'6" medium spinning rod with a nice little shimano spin kaster.  Bot sum mepps spinners and blue fox's.  Wanna fish for bulls Dolly's rainbows.  Heading up to Smithers.  Won't go past that.  Heading towards likely too. 

Anyone feel like settin me off in the right drek shun feel free.
