So I wanna make some spinners for fishing the stocked trout in our local lakes, however i'm having a hard time deciding which type of blade to buy... should I go with colorodo's, or Indiana's or French? Just need some suggestions before I make my final decision. Thanks in advance.

French

#3 colorodo #4 french

I concur with the French blade but IMHO #4 is way too large. When I targeted stocked trout, a #1 brass Mepps Aglia worked well, even on wild trout. I don't think trout are that discriminate when it comes to spinner blade types, sizes and finishes, however a #1 brass always produced well.

So I got #1 silver plated French blades. Painted some, left others... Wish me luck!
