SO both me Simms and old Korkers bought the farm the las couple weeks... and I need new boots. Like the new Corkers, but Reaction only carries Reddington now... and Fred's doesn't have any sizes. Anyone know what the closest shop to Chilliwack is that may have the Korkers or a good selection of boots to choose from?
Thanks,
Dave

The closest shop is probably going to be whole sale sports, then Micheal and young.

Wholesale Sports does not have a very good selection of boots .I see they have lots of Hodgemen . Army and Navy Langley said they were supposed to get a shipment in of boots last week. Micheal & Young in Surrey have quite a few in the Simms . I just picked up a pair Simms boots last week for a good price .

I Picked up a pair of Bears awhile back, they are awsome! Well built, light and priced at under 100 dollars. Just what I was looking for.

If you want Simms with a felt sole, hang tight to January or so, I hear Simms is bringing back their felt sole.
I picked up a pair of Bare Kermode boots I really like, for a reasonable price at Freds.

Where they bares or chota supplied by bare. The low end bare are crap. I owned a pair and within the first 2 months they started to fall apart. I returned them and got another pair and the same thing happened. I then ended up upgrading to their top end ones and love them. Absolutly no problems and you can place studs in the boots which I did and they have been great. The laceing system is awesome, it is just a quuick pull and slide down the locking mechanisum and away you go. They are also really light even when soaked.

Yeah I owned 2 pairs of Chota and beat the crap out of them fast. Although they were super comfy, light weight and hardly absorbed water they just fell apart way to fast. I just upgraded to the Bear keramode boots and what a difference, Im surprised there made by the same company? So far there the perfect boot, but I havent yet put them through a whole season for the full test.

Yup those are the ones.
I have seen the new Bare boots and they look pretty good. Not many shops have them yet. They actually have the name Bare right on them.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I got a pair yesterday, probably should have tried Chilliwack Dart & Tackle cause I wound up driving all the way in to Berry's to get the Korker's I wanted. But they gave me a pretty good deal so it's all good. Now I wouldn't mind trying them out today... just have no idea where to go.. haha I'll decide while I have my coffee!!
