I know it's a pretty open ended question and obviously dependant on the type of fish you are targeting, but for spooked Coho, does a drennan really make the difference, does having a black vs. a white float for overcast vs. sunny days really help? I often wonder with the clear floats if it really matters, the top is red anyway, isn't that going to effectively make the fact the float is clear irrelevant, not to mention that if fish can see light test mono in the water, why wouldn't they see a big clear plastic float? In my experience it really doesn't seem to matter. I've caught just as many trout under an old school red and white bobber as teeny clear stealth sliding float. Thoughts?
