so the pinks are coming back right now, until when? December?
how about the other species?

You wouldnt want to be eating one much past mid Sept, although they can be caught well into october on some river systems. The lower Fraser will be pretty much fished out by end of the month.

Assuming you are asking about out local rivers, you can enjoy fishing salmon until well into November.
Pinks will be running until the end of September.
Fall springs and chum will be running until the end of October,
Coho will run until the end of November (only in some systems and not in large numbers).
Depending on the river you fish, you could catch up to four species on the same day until well into October.
As for the quality of the fish for the table...different strokes for different folks. I won't eat them unless they are chrome from the ocean with sea lice still on them.
Cheers,
Milo

You wouldn't keep or eat an early run coho on the Vedder from say Sept 24?

quite likely he is referring to pink after sept 24. coho will still be good after this date.
