Title: Sturgeon Fishing Catch and Release Guidelines
Post by: mykisscrazy on June 29, 2011, 01:06:03 PM
So I have heard that there are some sort of guidelines (that the guides have put together) dealing with how to Catch and Release Sturgeon in the Fraser River.
One of the points mentions that fish larger than 4 feet are not to be held up out of the water.

If this is true, why is it that almost every fishing guide photo -  most fish are being held up out of the water?

Anyways, if there are Sturgeon Catch and Release Guidelines is it possible to post them to make everyone aware as to how to handle these fish with the care and respect they deserve.

The guidelines are not written as of yet.....(published anyway!)

Any questions should be directed to gofish (stu) on the BCFR site.... he was picked to represent the sport fishers!
