Nasty looking brute - I wonder who did that?  Maybe it's a result of the backyard fish pond being yuppie fashion.

thats brutal, and a little nasty Id hate to see that swim past me.

That would be a nasty little surprise to see in a small creek.  :o
I know in Japan they are having problems with armored catfish and tropical species of fish in lakes and streams, it would be sad to see something like a gator gar trying eat salmon fingerlings.
Makes you wonder how many unknown species are caught and get reported.
