Title: How busy will Alouette be this weekend?
Post by: canuckjgc on April 20, 2011, 09:43:49 AM
Has anyone been to Alouette on this long weekend in the past? Has it been a zoo or still too early/cold for the yahoos?

Still way too cold for the real yahoos - the waterskiers.

It's a deathwish fishing from a float tube in the summer.

shouldnt be to busy as its cold outand not sopposed to be the nicest of weather altho saturdays supposed to be nice.
but its a big lake so lots of room even if its busy with yahoos or other fishers

I know kokanees have been caught in the past from shore (based on derby results which has a tally of fish caught from shore).  Any suggestion on which shore has the best chance?  :)

Sorry, I got off topic and have reposted my question: http://www.fishingwithrod.com/yabbse/index.php?topic=24197.msg253766#msg253766

Really? Have you been there much in a boat? If its busy that boat launch is a bloody zoo.
