My wife and kids got me one last Christmas and I must say it is AWESOME!!! Have used it twice this year and have caught a ton of sockeye and a 35 lb spring  ;D  It feels great in my hand, easy to cast (far & accurately) and adjusting the drag when fighting the spring was easy. I highly recommend this reel to anyone.

I have owned two and was very pleased.  Never any problems.  Very smooth and sturdy.  Top quality abu craftsmanship.  A lot of the plastic compenents on the cheaper Abus were replace with metal.  Another very handy feature is the thumb bar is two stage.  if you depress it halfway, it will freespool, as soon as you lift your finger it will engage. I found this very useful for float fishing as you dont have to turn the handle to engage the spool.

That reel MIGHT be okay for crappie fishing, but it would be a piece of crap for sockeye , springs or steelhead.
