Is there any good spots I can throw some spoons from shore for pinks in Abbotsford? I caught some in Chilliwack today but only have limited time tomorrow and would like to try again. I got my first pink ever today and had a blast. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Rod for the great website with all the helpful information.

The river is pretty wide there. I noticed today in chilliwack that most of the fish I saw rising where close to shore. Do pinks typically travel closer to shore?

Check out google maps. Anywhere with river access should be fine.
They have been moving through pretty steady for the past 3-4 days now.
And as already mentioned, generally they do travel close to shore.

Its good in the Fraser until mid September than they hit their spawning rivers. Of course thats on average and some of them are already in their spawning rivers. We have just under 2 weeks left of them in the lower Fraser. Approximately
