Title: Fraser Turned Muddy In The Valley, September, 4, 2009
Post by: chris gadsden on September 04, 2009, 03:16:10 PM
While I was out bar fishing today I noticed the river clarity decrease as the morning went on on. I had checked the river levels at South Fort George last night on my return from the Thompson and I had noted the rise but did not think it was enough to effect the clarity. However I guess the heavy rain through the watershed has caused the muddy condition. Out of the 25 odd bar rods where I was fishing not one rod moved. Packed it in around noon.

Ouch on the sockeye situation Gord. Heard this evening the dirty water conditions was short lived and did clear up again so should be OK for the bar guys and those fishing pinks in Rodney's territory tomorrow. ;D
