Was just wondering if and where the best/closest place to launch a cartopper would be near the mouth of the vedder river. Thanks...

Barrowtown pump station. It's shallow where the Vedder meets the Sumas but it the closest unless you want to come down the Fraser from Old Orchard rd or over from Dewdney.

Hardly any water at low tide right now. At the convergence of the Sumas and Vedder their is less than a foot of water at low tide. >:(

Went to check out the water today, LOW LOW LOW! :(

I've launched there a lot and haven't seen any broken glass this year (knock on wood). Some guys park on the road so they are a little more out in the open.

Well I'll stay away from there!!Had a pack stolen when I was parked at the bridge that separates the Chilliwack/Vedder on the Chilliwack side the first little parking area on the left last fall.
