Someone sent me this photo asking me to ID it. It was caught in Ucluclet, BC
I have no idea what it is lol

looks like either a sculpin or cabezon

cabezon!! That is it, thanks! She told me the guide told her it started with a 'c' so that must be it.

Funny thing with Rock fish is the uglier they are the better they taste! ;)

lol i used to catch some ugly ol fish off the coast of cali in the monterey area and indeed they were tasty

I understand can get food posin from thre roe, any body know that if you has to be careful when you ciean the fish

That's because it is a Sculpin-the largest Sculpin of all-found in saltwater only.
