Post by: jon5hill on July 15, 2009, 04:30:18 PM
Any significant landings coming yet, or is it still a bit early?

I hooked one last Sunday. Unfortunately I loose it due to my poor leader knot. (Should have pay attention to Chris's Journal) Strong and big. Likely 15 Sec I hold him and gone. There was other fishermen who stopped fishing and come to see what I was doing but FUN and Bad luck.
Hooked 2 Sokye too. Release them asap. Nice fish.

the run of red springs in the vedder is small so you shouldnt expect reports of lots of fish caught to be reported, but if you do some searching you might get lucky and find a school of fresh fish and hit a few ,i  have found that around the 10 of july to be the start of the bigger push of fish into the vedder.
