General question - Lamiglas rods are the worth the money?
Thinking of buying one as a gift and would like to hear input from anyone who has used them.
Looking for pros and cons on this subject.
Recommendation on a model type would be appreciated.
The rod would be used primarily for short floating.

Ghost Fish.....good point.
Mainly targeting coho and steelhead.

I think it's a great rod for the money.

Got a 10'6" lamiglas. Love the rod. Good flex for light weight underhand casts. Good fighting power.

I am impressed with Lamis. Built my wifes rod with one of their blanks 12 years ago, still going strong. Every year I ask her if she would like an upgrade and every year she says No. That says allot.

I have a 10'6" Lami centrepin rod model GC 106-MHC-P rated 10#-20# 1/2 oz-1+1/2oz that I am extremely happy with ;D.Very light in the hand ,lots of play in it for coho but has the backbone for those steelies in the teens. The cork used seems to be a larger diameter than on most other rods. This makes it more comfotable to hold and should allow for a couple of light sandings in it's life to freshen the cork. The only con I can think of is that it could have had a fancier butt cap than the plain black plastic one it has. ???
